Jesus Christ gives the free gift of salvation to all who believe in him.
For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
The Holy Spirit empowers us to do God’s will.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.
And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—
in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
We are called to instruct each other in the full knowledge of Jesus Christ
19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.
And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
We must use the gifts that God has given us to serve others.
1 Peter 4:10
God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts.
Use them well to serve one another.
Supporting missions demonstrates God’s love and compassion for the world.
35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’40 “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least
of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!
Life is not meant to be lived alone but in healthy connection with others
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
Prayer develops intimacy with God
12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.
